PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT: DEEP SEA BLEND
To kick off our first product spotlight, we’re plunging into the heart of our signature dark roast: Deep Sea Blend. This blend is thoughtfully crafted, featuring two of the world’s most renowned Arabica beans with harmonious flavor profiles: Sumatra and Costa Rica.
The Origins: Sumatran beans, grown in the rugged, volcanic soils of the Gayo Highlands, are famous for their unique "Giling Basah" (wet-hulled) processing, which gives them a heavy body and earthy, spicy undertones. We pair this depth with the bright, honey-like sweetness of high-altitude Costa Rican beans to create a cup that is complex and vibrant.
The Roast: Using our Vortex Drum in small batches, we guide these beans into the beginning of the "Second Crack." This precision timing allows the natural oils to rise to the surface, creating a velvet-like mouthfeel and bringing out deeper flavor notes of Velvety Chocolate, Toasted Sugar, and Buttery Caramel. It’s a bold, soul-warming brew designed to be the "Anchor" of your morning.
RECIPE OF THE MONTH: TOFFEE TIDE MACCHIATO
This month, we’re highlighting a sophisticated way to enjoy our darkest roast with a touch of marshmallow sweetness.
Ingredients:
2 Shots: Espresso brewed with fine-ground Deep Sea Blend dark roast coffee.
Splash of Flavor: One Marshmallow Toffee Sugar Blobby.
Topping: A generous dollop of vanilla-infused cold foam.
Instructions:
Pull a double shot of espresso into a small glass or macchiato cup (demitasse).
Drop in one Marshmallow Toffee Sugar Blobby and gently stir until dissolved.
Grab a can of your favorite cold foam creamer, or prepare your own using heavy cream, milk, and a splash of vanilla syrup frothed until thick.
Add a dollop of cold foam onto the center of the espresso.
(Optional) Place another Sugar Blobby on top for an extra sweet treat.
